Apologies. I have been gone for a little while...catching my breath now. Lots going on. I see we have new followers and visitors and I shall not let you down any further... :)
Kota Hiratsuka, a Japanese paper artist, creates these beautiful origami mosaics. You can see more of his work here and watch for his upcoming downloadable PDF template store so you can make some yourself.
The Coastlands House was designed by Carver + Schicketanz for a retired couple in Big Sur. Big Sur is one of the most beautiful coasts I have ever seen. I'm sure the view they get every morning is nothing short of amazing. See more here.
Check out one of the beautiful, new Metro Art Stations in Naples, Italy. The Art Station program has been going on for some time in Europe. This particular one was designed by the Spanish firm of architect Oscar Tusquets Blanca. Wouldn't mind going down into the subway around here if the stations looked more like this. So pretty.
This odd little fella is the Hwoarang Hanger, created out of birch plywood. Its unique shape and oversized areas work perfectly to hold odds and ends like scarfs, belts, ties, and other items that don't work on traditional hangers. Around $13 a piece.
