This is pretty amazing...artist Guy Laramee created two series (Biblios and The Great Wall) of carved old books. I can't imagine how much time these took to make.

In the kitchen or in an actual library...library ladders are just cool and super functional.  With everything going to digital tablets, I sure hope books and library ladders don't go away.

vintage book iPhone charger

I like these.  The charging cord is well secured into the book, and it's designed to be compatible with all iPods and iPhones (iPhone 3G, 3GS & iPhone 4G).  It also accommodates sync and charge functions via a USB cable.  The charger is a solid unit.  Designed by Rich Neeley Designs and available on etsy for about $50.  Lots of great titles, too.

The very cool book hook bookmark by designer Tell Ritterbach.  Available at Connox in birch, beech, or oak.  Some of us read at night, so if you're a restless sleep thrasher...maybe this is not for you.  The tip of that triangle looks a little sharp.
